Packaging development
August Töpfer & Co. / Bonora Copacking is engaged in highly effective packaging development, designing complex products for major branded companies. We have a continually growing number of innovations protected as utility models or patents is constantly growing.
Upon request, our engineers will coordinate that entire printing and production process for private labels – including the design, material selection (also according to ecological considerations) and scaling of packaging units. The EAN codes are checked according to CEN standard EN 1635 in the pre-print stage and during production.
Quality management
As distributors and producers of food and feed, we are aware of our special responsibility. Process-related Quality management as well as regular checks and certifications are integral parts of our operations. We likewise closely exchange information with external experts and independent inspection bodies. This ensures that our products always meet the current quality requirements.
Our HACCP concepts for food and feed are a key instrument for product safety. We therefore regularly conduct a risk analysis to identify possible hazards at all stages of the production process. Extensive precautions and process monitoring at defined control points guarantee safe production and product quality.
The raw materials we use are subject to natural variations. However, to ensure consistently high quality, August Töpfer & Co. (GmbH & Co.) KG uses its comprehensive quality assurance system in the selection of raw materials. Here we focus on longstanding business relationships with our suppliers.
All raw materials are examined for their sensory properties as well as chemical, physical and microbiological parameters during incoming goods control . External checks are only performed by accredited laboratories. The examined raw materials are only accepted into the production process following approval.
Another important part of our QM system are process-related quality controlsthat cover the entire production process.
The quality management system at August Töpfer & Co. (GmbH & Co.) KG is an ongoing process that is continuously updated and optimised. Not only are our products subject to regular checks, but also the quality assurance system itself.
